by Anonymous | reply 10 | April 20, 2018 7:55 PM |
Fuck, Daniel Craig looks old in OP’s pic. I know we all get old, hopefully. But I’m just saying Craig really does look like grandfather age
by Anonymous | reply 11 | April 20, 2018 7:57 PM |
I imagine some of the women who go into a tizzy about these older women getting pregnant are in menopause and therefore have a hard time seeing other women their age still fertile and having babies.
I'm not saying ALL of the negative/"no thank you" comments on the Daily Mail are coming from these women, but I bet some of them are.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 20, 2018 8:05 PM |
If you have money to pay for help there’s no reason not to. Young children need a lot of looking after but if you’ve got a housekeeper and a couple of nannies it should be fine.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 20, 2018 8:09 PM |
r11-- Since Craig has a 25-year old daughter it is very possible that he could be a grandfather soon

by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 21, 2018 4:13 AM |
More like horrifying.
There IS a reason why it becomes increasingly difficult for women to become pregnant as they get older. There is a reason why they eventually go through menopause and stop being able to become pregnant.
Based on currently available technology, we are very near the global sustainable population limit. Do we really need science to help squeeze out vanity children.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 21, 2018 4:52 AM |
the people that can afford IVF can also provide very affluent and stable lives for those kids.
If you really want to curb the population and the problems that brings you have to stop the underclass from reproducing.

God she'll be in a nursing home by the time the kid graduates, that's if it doesn't have Down Syndrome.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | April 21, 2018 4:56 AM |
Not many 66 year olds in nursing homes r22. And the egg was genetically tested to eliminate Down Syndrome and all that stuff. Designer babies come without flaws.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | April 21, 2018 4:58 AM |
Hi Rachel R23. Plenty of 'spring chickens' end up in nursing homes and lets not kid ourselves, she'll be a geriatric when the kid is in its teens. Only one step away from drool and diapers.
Designer babies created by Daniel Craig's sperm will undoubtedly come with flaws. You can't eliminate that much ugly.

Not necessarily. Many women have kind of an 'estrogen surge' for a brief time prior to menopause, leaving them extra fertile. Many late-in-life babies have been conceived that way. It would fit with her age.

Affluent people consume a lot more than poor people, R21, and thus strain the earth's resources much more, (on an individual basis). But yes, since there are so many more poor people havning 7-8 children on average, especially in Africa, the bigger problem lies with them.

I know a woman who had conceived around 49... She was 50 when she delivered. Her husband was 2 or 3 years younger. Her daughter is fine and doing quite well, 3 or 4 yrs old now. They had conceived this child the old-fashioned way. They certainly did not have the money for IVF. Sometimes people get lucky. The newest science does declare even men this age are too old though. People once just blamed women and eggs for Downs and other genetic flaws, but old sperm is certainly a factor too. I wish them the best, hope their baby is healthy.

To think that the over three and a quarter BILLION women on this earth all work on the exact same fertility clock is ridiculous. With over three and a quarter BILLION women on this earth, some will become pregnant past forty, and even past fifty.

If she is only having one child, definitely egg donor; twins - IVF. I believe she used an egg donor. They have been talking about having a baby together for the past 6 years. Probably tried numerous rounds of IVF (using her own eggs) but failed. 6 years later, donor egg as last resort.

Not Daniel Craig.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | April 21, 2018 8:04 PM |
If she were younger, I'd suspect this was a financially motivated baby, Craig is getting paid an unbelievable amount of money to get back to the Bond franchise and this will keep the marriage going long enough to make it community property.
However, it's not like she could pull any surprises at her age.

Super selfish. What a rotten thing to do to a child.
The child will be lucky if its parent are around long enough to see it into adulthood. The chances of having its parents around when it is 30 are even smaller. If the parents are still alive when the kid turns 30, they will be doddering old poops. If their child has children of its own one day, the child will never know its grand parents.
This is made worse by the fact the kid is unlikely to have any siblings. Very, very isolating. Craig and Weisz should both be kicked to the gutter. Not celebrated.

So a donor egg is from another woman?
by Anonymous | reply 72 | December 21, 2019 12:06 PM |
My neighbour had a baby at 47. They were factory workers, no IVF. Both of my grandmothers had large families with the last kid being born when they were 44 and 49 respectively. Women reproducing into their 40s was nothing unusual until people started to control their fertility and have 2 babies with a 2 year age gap and then call or done. People even freak out over the third baby in the family now and insist it’s a bandaid baby, was a mistake and the parents are selfish cunts and climate change deniers. On the other hand people also freak out if people in their early 20s reproduce. People also freak out if people don’t go and study STEM and earn 6 figure salaries. So, people are left with a 5 year window to reproduce “properly” without attracting public scorn. You’d better have all the stars line up so you have found the right man/woman, have your finances in order, have a stable home and have a body that produces a boy and a girl with a 2-3 year age gap but remains properly infertile before and after that.
All I can say is thank god I’m not straight and not a wealthy gay so I’ll never have this pressure to reproduce under the scornful eye of people.
And like the abortion issue, once people have the “proper” 2 kid family we ignore them and if they end up chasing each other around the courts for years in a messy child custody disputes nobody gives a shit. If the parents have a toxic marriage everyone looks the other way.
I guess I woke up on the wrong side of the bed but there’s so much pressure now on how and when to reproduce that I have sympathy for people who do it “wrong” and get roasted. I also have sympathy for the A gays who probably don’t really want to be parents but feel pressured into spending a half mill having a surrogate deliver them twin boys so they can be perfect Instadads.
